Leadership Training

CTN’s Leadership Training program teaches and sharpens the skills of future and current computer center managers. Our intention is to prepare individuals to lead technology education and knowledge-sharing initiatives in their communities. One of our goals is to connect center managers with the resources they need and to help them join and contribute to the vast network of Community Technology professionals in and beyond the Bay Area. Training sessions cover the following fundamental topics:  Lab Management Basics, Managing Volunteers, Community Outreach and Development.

CTN will work with participants to implement at their centers the lessons learned. Integration of the skills acquired and honed during CTN Leadership Training empowers center managers, their students and the center’s constituents to take their exploration of technology to the next level and build strong, sustainable communities around technology.
